school and driving [2003-04-21, 12:30 p.m.] I went driving this morning, and I mostly worked on parallel parking. It was interesting, but not as hard as I thought it would be. The hardest thing to remember is which way to turn the wheel...and I have to remember all the stuff I have to do, like signalling, looking over my shoulder, shifting, etc. It was cool though, I still need to work on controlling my speed. I'm not doing any school today, but I don't have the whole week off like some (or rather, most) people, because we took a lot of time off to move this year so I don't get any more break till June! But since I'm a homeschooler and in highschool, we only have to count the # of hours I do, and the curriculum I complete, so it doesn't matter if I don't do as many days as other kids as long as I get enough credits.
